Asbestos Personal Injury Defense

The firm has extensive experience representing local and national corporations in the defense of asbestos-related personal injury and wrongful death, and premises liability claims where it is alleged that company employees, third-party workers and/or consumers contracted asbestosis, mesothelioma, lung cancer or other asbestos related illnesses due to their exposure to asbestos containing products (“ACPs”) and/or asbestos containing materials (“ACMs”) used in the final products. The firm’s coordinated defense includes alleged exposures to ACPs and ACMs by employees during manufacturing, plant and factory operations; third-party workers’ alleged exposed to ACPs and ACMs in commercial and industrial buildings, warehouses, plants, office buildings, electrical systems, construction materials, chemical processing operations, naval shipyards and vessels, automobile and truck repair centers, and in the television, radio and audio equipment repair industry; as well as individual consumers’ use of home renovation and automobile repair products. The firm acts as lead counsel and/or national coordinating counsel in federal and multi-state jurisdictions working closely with internationally recognized forensic investigators and products, materials, industry, occupational and medical consultants and experts.
