Following graduation, Chris clerked for Judge Joseph L. Tauro, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and later joined a large law firm in Philadelphia. Chris has been a partner at Fenningham, Dempster & Coval LLP since 2014.

Practice Areas:

Chris has been a business lawyer for 20 years representing a wide variety of companies in diverse industries, including non-profit organizations in the education and human services industries. Examples of service include corporate formation, governance and compliance matters, civil litigation, risk management, internal investigations, employment matters, contract review and negotiations, acquisitions, real estate transactions, estate planning, leasing, lending and collections. Many of his clients include contractors and subcontractors in connection with payment disputes, mechanics’ liens, construction defect litigation, bond claims, and contract negotiation and review. Chris also works with individuals for estate planning and estate administration, real estate sales, employment matters and civil litigation of all kinds. For many of his clients, Chris serves in a “general counsel” capacity supporting and protecting their businesses on a daily basis as they navigate the varied challenges that organizations routinely face, from formation to acquisition. Chris prides himself on efficiency and responsiveness and is honored to be a regular part of his client’s management team.
