About:

Lisa is a seasoned business and corporate law attorney specializing in corporate governance, commercial and government contracts, asset sales and purchases, insurance and risk management, real estate, manufacturing and supply chain/distribution, data privacy, and labor and employment law.  Prior to joining FDC, Lisa was General Counsel of Cardone Industries, Inc., an aftermarket auto parts remanufacturer based in Philadelphia and doing business in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Before joining Cardone, Lisa was Deputy General Counsel at Berlitz Corporation (a global language education and leadership training company), Assistant General Counsel at Flowers Foods, Inc. (one of largest producers and marketers of packaged bakery foods in the U.S.), Tasty Baking Company (manufacturer and distributor of the iconic Tastykake® premium snack cake), and PMA Capital Corporation (public holding company for operating subsidiaries providing reinsurance, workers’ compensation, casualty insurance, and TPA & Risk Services). Her career as an attorney began in 1997 at CIGNA Corporation, where she held the position of International Corporate Secretary responsible for corporate governance of CIGNA’s global subsidiaries. Since 2015, Ms. Hanssen has served as Chairman of the Board of KenCCID (Kensington Community Corporation for Individual Dignity), a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that offers 24-hour care-givers, housing, and employment services in a non-institutional community setting to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
